- Perform finish and trim carpentry according to plans and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install base and casing, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, siding, , flooring, etc.
- Design, build, and install cabinets for new and refurbished homes/offices
- Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed
- Collaborate with other carpenters, craftsmen, and subcontractors to complete projects
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment
- Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite
- Organize equipment within the warehouse
- Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are met
- High school diploma/GED
- Effective verbal communication
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Blueprint reading skills
- Able to use common hand and power tools
- Must have own trade tools
- IICRC certifications preferred
- Experience with new construction and/or remodels preferred, but not required
- Previous estimating and material ordering experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Exposure to chemicals
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
- Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
